Hey Juneau folks. How was the turn out for the screening? Any feedback on the film?

Here is the reply from Sara:
Hi Anonymous -
The turnout Saturday at each pre-screening event was not large - about 8 people at each - but those who came were very engaged with the documentary and with the KTOO production process. Our discussions afterwards were very interesting.
I've been to other screenings, each also small, but I know people who have borrowed the DVD from KTOO and shown it to other groups around town. It's a wonderful ripple effect experience.
Overall the feedback is very positive, as it's a showing sure to bring tears to anyone's eyes (good tears). Many lesbian viewers wish there were more lesbian daughters in the DVD . . . but the wonderous diversity of racial and religious differences it gives us is unprecedented and every discussion group remarks on that.
There aren't bi or trans children in the documentary either -- one goes away wishing for more more more. But what is given is exceptionally fine, and will definitely touch hearts in a positive way around the state on the TV broadcast on the 17th.
