Note: I forwarded JenAK's question to a lesbian who used to live in Nome. She answered Jen privately, but didn't have any suggestions for LGBT-friendly places to stay.
As for Prince of Wales Island, JenAK decided that her best solution is to rent a van and sleep in it.
